Found one! A new home from 1 July for me, in Colliers Wood (a mile or so further SW than Tooting). And I won’t have any excuses for not completing any of the many, *many* projects I’ve proposed and promised myself I’d work on. Other than Oblivion, obviously. Mythpause

Hmmm. Think I’ll wait until *after* the upcoming meeting to finish fiddling with the mythbox. I did get it more-or-less up and running, but ran into problems again with XvMC. Going to give it another go this evening whilst watching back-to-back episodes of Wire in the Blood. It seems that Jeremy Teale, the guy behind TheHunter.ws, has updated the MythTV packages to fix some issues, and (hurrah!) enabled the XvMC compilation options! So last weekend I migrated Lou’s files to her “new” machine (a pants-wettingly fast PIII 1GHz) and repurposed the old machine (a Dell PIII-500 upgraded to a Celeron 1200) as a temporary Mythbox for testing the new hardware.
