JUBILATION!!! (no rants allowed today please).
What a day for the England rugby team – winners of the world cup for the first time but also the first team in the northern hemisphere to do so AND to beat the champions at home! Once Australia (Flatley) had equalised 14-14 close to time, it looked as though England were on their way out. Extra time was just unbearable but can you believe it… Jonny Wilkinson scores the winning drop goal with seconds to spare! What an absolutely fantastic day for the whole of England.
